Vsevolod Sevostyanov is a Ph.D. student at Saint Petersburg State University. He earned his Master’s degree from the Department of Mathematics and Mechanics at SPbU in 2017.
His main scientific interest is physical design and query execution in RDF stores. In the past Vsevolod had also studied closeness centrality in social graphs.
At the moment Vsevolod is working on a scientific paper about fragmentation of RDF stores.
PosDB is a disk-based column-store that supports distributed query processing. In this project we aim to study distributed query processing, optimization, adaptivity, and physical design issues.
